Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember waking up super early every morning before school just so I could watch music videos on MTV for an entire hour before catching the bus. I fell in love with Rock after I saw the “Smells like Teen Spirit” video by Nirvana for the first time.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Cornell, Euphoria Morning Radiohead, OK Computer Deluxe Version The Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream Euphoria Morning made me want to be a singer, Siamese dream inspired me to play electric guitar with power and massive tone, and Ok Computer showed me what was it meant to dive deep into the soul of a song. Tell us why you chose this song. “Extraordinary World” The song was inspired by a man I met in Siem Reap born with no arms. He learned to make jewelry with his feet. He had the most beautiful and positive outlook on life and people. He donates some of his earnings to help others in his community.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My recent Extraordinary World Tour in Brazil was so incredible. I was able to play 12 dates in 12 cities. I met so many amazing fans, that connected with me through my songs & live performance. It was so nice hearing them sing my lyrics back to me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have toured 6 countries but have yet played in front of a sea of people. I hope to play Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza in the next two years of my career. I also hope that I get a song on a major motion picture soundtrack. That would be incredible.
