Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents told me that I didn't have a "first word," when I was a baby. They said the first time they heard actual words leave my mouth, it was to sing the lyrics to a Stylistics song called "Peek-a Boo." Music is in me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, So Far Gone Drake, Take Care Lil Wayne, Tha Carter III From R&B to Heavy Metal, I could've easily picked any combination of 3. However, these are always in rotation because these came into my life when I needed them most (ages 12-16). I could relate but also, they inspired my musical approach as well.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cold (Remastered)” This is not my best song, sonically, at all. I don't sound like this anymore! But, this song showed me that if I kept at it, I could be pretty good at this. It gave me confidence as a writer, for sure, and to utilize my voice as an instrument.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't really care too much about the fame. I think I just want my music to continue to expand on a more global scale and hopefully be noticed by those who "control" the game. I'd love to collab with Drake, SZA and Burna Boy.
