Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Waking up to my dad playing old reggae, jazz and R&B soul vinyl while my mom was cooking breakfast. I can smell the fried plantain, green banana, ackee and saltfish rn 🤤. My fav request was Fire and Desire by Rick James & Teena Marie.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Kanye West, Graduation OutKast, Aquemini These albums represent the most pivotal times in my life. GRADUATION was my anthem when I visited Ethiopia. FOREST HILLS DR reminds me when I had to work at a restaurant just to keep my dreams alive and AQUEMINI was when making music was pure fun.
