Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The Beatles! A woman in my neighborhood worked at Capitol Records and would bring us their latest releases. My dad built a hi-fi console with a turntable in it. We’d drop the needle and gather round fighting over who got to hold the album cover!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Linda Ronstadt, Prisoner In Disguise Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Pick only three?? Impossible! I’ll try… Stevie Wonder’s SONGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE, Linda Ronstadt's PRISONER IN DISGUISE, and Joni Mitchell’s BLUE.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Throw Me a Party” This is a song I wrote with Liz Rose & Kristian Bush after I’d had breast cancer. During that time, when we didn’t know what the prognosis was, I told my family that if the worst should happen, I’d like a big celebratory party upon my departure.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I wrote a song with Jason Reeves and Nelly Joy about Joni Mitchell called "Joni." I was able to sing that to her at an event where she was receiving an award. Nerve-wracking!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It no longer exists, but I wish could have headlined a show at Universal Studios Amphitheater. I had worked at the venue as a ticket taker and saw so many incredible artists perform on that stage during my formative years.
