With a smooth, experimental sound akin to Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, singer, songwriter, and producer RINI is poised to become one of Australia’s first breakout R&B stars.
• RINI is from a musical Filipino family. He started playing guitar at age 10 and busking in his native Melbourne as a teen. At 17, he acquired a beat from a producer friend and wrote his own song—the first of many.
• In 2017, he released a nine-song self-titled project. The following year, he built serious buzz with a series of singles and the EP After the Sun.
• He relocated to Los Angeles in 2019 and further grew his fanbase with songs like the streaming hit “My Favourite Clothes.”
