Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory of music was when I was 6. I would turn on Derrick Rose mixtapes and they would always have some sort of music in the background playing, particularly Chicago rappers like G Herbo or Kanye West.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dominic Fike, Sunburn Frank Ocean, Blonde Steve Lacy, Gemini Rights These three albums represent major growth eras in my life, each teaching me something new. Shout out Domi for bring me and my friends together.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Midsummer Reunion” This was my first major project. A piece that has a lot of context and reflects a major vice that I've had to overcome as I'm still maturing. It allowed me to put my thoughts on paper, then over a beat.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's still pretty early on in my music career but, if I had to choose my most memorable moment, it would definitely be sitting in my media room back in Fort Worth, with just a cup of coffee, my phone, my apple headphones, and my notebook.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's plenty work to be done and plenty I would like to accomplish. In due time, there'll be checkmarks by each one.
