In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. There's a photograph that exists of me and my dad taken around 1987-88 where my dad is letting me explore a boombox that he had just purchased for us. It was the first time I actually got to see one as we grew up poor, and I remember singing all day.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bad Bunny, Un Verano Sin Ti Interpol, Antics Lady Gaga, The Fame Monster (Deluxe Edition) Antics was an album that definitely stayed with me through my 20's Lady Gaga's debut was everything every musician wanted in their own debuts and she showed everyone how it's done and Bad bunny is such a crossover unlike anything recently.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “5 Am” It's the song that broke me out and gave me a window into the mainstream. It was also the song that made me embrace the full 80's analog style of the era, a style I always danced around. It gives me "Pretty in Pink" vibes and American romanticsisim.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I was recording "The Liberation" my debut album, I was sharing studio space with icons. I have never imagined I would ever be in a space like that! I was a film major, not a musician! I learned so much, both good/bad. But I wouldn't change that.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to resume touring again. It's been so long! I would love to see how my fans have aged and how receptive they have become. I would love to mesh my circus background and put on one hell of a show! I'd make everyone fall in love with me!
