In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 8, I carried my first tiny keyboard into my cubby house, determined to master "Oh When The Saints" with its built-in backing track. The moment I got it I was completely mesmerised by the keys. That spark of fascination lit a fire in me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alan Silvestri, Cast Away - Music from the Films of Robert Zemeckis Barry Manilow, The Essential Barry Manilow Ludovico Einaudi, Islands - Essential Einaudi Cast Away moves me with its vast, emotional harmonies. Barry Manilow has been a favourite since I was 15—his voice and songs are timeless. Einaudi's Islands amazes me; he turns familiar chords into something uniquely beautiful and deeply touching.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “London In Love (Orchestral Version)” One of my favourite songs on Apple Music is London In Love. Inspired by Craig Armstrong/Love Actually; it’s a lush, romantic piano-led piece that captures the beauty and emotion of love in the city. It’s a tribute to storytelling through music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Featuring on Classical stations as well as prominent Apple Music Playlists like 'Piano Chill' & 'Sound Therapy'. Recently, I’ve also seen an unexpected & deeply touching wave of support from listeners in Japan—an experience that has moved me greatly.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To perform live with an orchestra. This is my dream and I work every day to make that a reality. I’d also love to bring my music to audiences in Japan one day—thank you for listening!
