Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being a 6th grader at Byrd Middle School and hopping in a freestyle cypher with all the 8th graders along with my older brother Robert. Didn't do so hot the first time but it inspired me to master the craft and get my rap skills on point.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? LUCKI, Days B4 III Majid Jordan, The Space Between Sampha, Process All 3 of these albums have influenced me and my artistry in different ways. Lucki's flow, vibe, delivery and song structure are A1. Majid Jordan brought energy that makes you want to dance all night. Sampha's voice has always caught my ear.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Refuse 2 Lose” This song still motivates me till this day. It's a song about perseverance and staying in the fight. It's a banger and it's one of the first songs I went and worked with Grammy Winning engineer Nicholas "Sunzoo" Race based out of Cincinnati, OH.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing with Montana of 300 at the Double Door in Chicago, IL was a great experience for me so far. Also getting my video "Get Right" featured on World Star Hip Hop and going viral.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Perform at Lolapalooza music festival in Chicago, IL on the T-Mobile stage as headliner. Have one of my songs featured in a video game. Aiming for Madden, NBA 2K or something similar. Travel overseas and perform in other countries and continents.
