Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Rui grew up with her mother’s favorite AIKO tunes, nurturing love for music early on. dro, however, struggled and failed with music in school and only found interest at age of 16 when he received his first guitar, sparking his passion to composing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eve, Otogi Kanye West, The Life of Pablo Vaundy, strobo redraw's music is like steak with wasabi—J-POP influences meet US sounds: hip-hop and PBR&B. Our goal is to create diverse DTM. Eve inspired Rui to start music, Ye sparked dro to hip-hop, and Strobo reflects our drive to harmonize different styles

Tell us why you chose this song. “Mint for Two” Mint for Two is our debut single, crafted fully remotely from our homes: only via Discord channel. Despite a 14-hour time gaps between Chiba and NY, we created this song. A duet across the globe, it’s the perfect song that demonstrate our identity
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The 1-year silence of Rui and me is unforgettable. In 2023, I faced rejection from many vocalists, while Rui quit music. After brief talks, silence followed until February 2024, when Rui's courage broke it, leading to the dramatic birth of redraw.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Rui aims to perform live in diverse settings like aquariums and write songs based on her literary works. dro's goal, beyond music, is to discover new talents through his "droduction studio" and influence fields like video production and fashion.
