In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I went to a National violin competition and everyone, including my family, thought I played very poorly. We got up to leave just in time for the announcer to announce me as second place.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Astor Piazzolla, Tango: Zero Hour Eryn Allen Kane, a tree planted by water - EP Jacob Collier, Djesse Vol. 4 I like music that is mindless yet mindful at the same time. These are three album I feel like are gems in a world of music that's moving too fast. These albums help me slow down a little.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Two Birds” This is the first song I've released, I wrote it five years before I released it and it is essentially a combination of all my roles as a musician: A film composer, a singer, a violinist, an artist that just wants soothe the world.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have a fairly new career, so nothing significant has happened yet. But the daily messages I get from listeners enjoying my songs - finding it to be a soothing, intimate, and personal space - just motivates me in the right direction.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to bring musical calmness and intimacy back into the trending space of the world, and shine a light on musicians who craft factors of music, and takes care of the value of it with their lives in a world moving too fast.
