Baritone Raoul Steffani has won major awards and has participated in soprano Barbara Hannigan's Equilibrium initiative. From 2016 to 2018, Steffani was a member of the Dutch National Opera Academy, making his debut in Mozart's Così fan tutte. In 2018, he released his debut album, the song recital Deep in a Dream. He joined mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená and accompanist Gerold Huber on the album Robert & Clara Schumann: Love's Spring in 2021. Steffani was heard with Hannigan on the album Sehnsucht -- Berg, Mahler: Live in Rotterdam in 2022.
