About R3HAB
Artist Biography
R3HAB may have gained initial fame as a pillar of Dutch EDM, but he has since achieved dominance across broader dance-pop and myriad other styles. The producer—born Fadil El Ghoul in Den Bosch, the Netherlands in 1986—broke out with bangers like his 2008 debut “Mrkrstft” and 2011’s Afrojack collab “Prutataaa” before bringing big-room house to the masses in the years that followed. Yet his 2017 debut album Trouble dropped the tempo and embraced a sensuous new palette infused with R&B finger-snaps and tropical sway. From there he has flirted with Afrobeats and reggaetón as much as synth-pop and country, while nailing down collabs with Jason Derulo, Sophie and the Giants, and many other vocalists from around the music world.
