Combining jangly guitars, wistful melodies, and interweaving vocal lines from four distinctive singers, Australian quartet Quivers built their sound on cues taken from both obscure and well-known greats of indie rock. The band used straightforward guitar pop song structures as foundations to explore expanded instrumentation, with lyrical themes of loss, loneliness, and painful growth coming to the forefront on their 2021 album Golden Doubt. Quivers signed with Merge Records for the release of their next album, 2024's Oyster Cuts.

Members of Quivers include, or have included, Sam Nicholson, Holly Thomas, and Bella Quinlan.
