Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. QB Music, legal name Keith McKinney, has been involved with music since the age of 5. He assumes the legacy from his brother, Alonzo(Mac)McKinney, as leader of Shades of Ebony Entertainment, started by Alonzo producing a #1 band in 1978 in SA, Texas.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Freddie Joachim, Beyond the Sea of Trees Mary J. Blige, What's the 411? Michael Jackson, Invincible These 3 albums show the production value of putting together a complete project. Invincible, soundly diverse, most overlooked album MJ has ever done. Freddie musically takes you on a ride. Mary's 411 allows you to hit play and hits all the emotions.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After the passing of his brother Alonzo (Mac) McKinney, QB Muisc dedicated his first full-length album, Not Tired Yet, to him. With 13 tracks that include integrated samples of his brother's previous work, it was an emotional and beautiful journey.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? QB Music has two projects that are top bucket list items. One is coming to fruition as an instrumental Hip-Hop album due out March 22nd, and to produce and create a hip-hop kids album for elementary school-age children.
