In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory is gospel music in church—the sound, the feeling. Dad introduced me to Christian rap like Lecrae and Trip Lee. Then I found an old iPod and heard Justin Timberlake and Kanye’s Graduation. That changed how I listened to music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Childish Gambino, Because the Internet Playboi Carti, Playboi Carti Tyler, The Creator, Flower Boy Because the Internet pulled me in with its world-building— the themes of isolation hit hard. Flower Boy dropped while I was figuring life out—sound, style, direction. Playboi Carti is—no explanation needed.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “PINE FORGE” PINE FORGE is me at my most honest—processing pressure, paranoia, and purpose all at once. I wrote it when I was balancing pain with power, trying to find clarity through the chaos. It’s fearless, heavy, and still smooth enough to ride to.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Literally today, June 30th, Tyler, the Creator posted two of my songs. This motivated me a ton.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything is left on my bucket list. I want an EGOT.
