Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up, I would record singing covers and upload it onto YouTube. In hopes to be the next Justin Bieber. This moment was monumental for me; uploading covers allowed me to gain the confidence to showcase my talent.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) Wizkid, Made In Lagos I really listen to anything that sounds good. These three albums are soundtracks to specific moments in my life. Whenever I play it, it fills me up with nostalgia. These artist inspire me immensely. There are so many others but this will do for now!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Back It” I truly believe "Back It" is a classic. It's one of those records that is so infectious melodically. This record came to me at a time when I was stuck artistically. Without this song, I truly believe my career wouldn't be where it is today.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was opening for Rema and expecting the crowd to be waiting for him soley. The exact opposite. I went on stage and seen people I've never seen before singing my songs word for word. Heartwarming.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The sky is just the beginning. With music, there are so many new levels to come across. It's easy to sit and state the obvious answers like a Grammy, signing a deal etc. For me, I look forward to the late night studio sessions creating classic music.
