Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I played the electronic organ as a young kid together with my dad, who died when I was 11 years old. I continued playing after that and eventually made music the centre of my life. So it will always also connect me with my dad.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Saw You” I wrote this song just after my daughter was born. The words are from a poem by the Sufi mystic Rumi, to which I added a verse. My experience of that birth: pure mystery and magic - 'a time when nothing is meaningful, except surrendering to love.'
