In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We had the opportunity to play at a flat party in our first year of university in Christchurch during covid. The main event for the day had to be cancelled, and there ended up being well over 200 people who came to our garage party.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arctic Monkeys, The Car Arctic Monkeys, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not Great Gable, On The Wall In The Morning Light The two Arctic Monkeys songs really highlight their progression as a band over time. From the heavy upbeat first album to their new, orchestra-filled band really appeals to us. The Great Gable album is a great full listen which highlights our vibe.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Clue” This song is our first release. We won a competition to record at an awesome studio for free, where we spent the weekend recording this awesome song. Its very upbeat and performs great when we play it live.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We opened for a band called Summer Thieves last year at the university MONO events. This was a crowd of over 1200 people, where we played with very nice equipment. This was our biggest show to date, playing in front of all our uni friends.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to do an insane summer festival tour of New Zealand, where we play at awesome venues across the country with amazing talented artists. This to us would feel like we have finally made it on the NZ music scene, and would be a summer to remember
