In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was my parents giving me a 45 vinyl of Ashford & Simpson’s “Solid as a Rock.” I was so young but always loved “grown folk” music. haha
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chocolate Child” This song will always be special to me because it was my father’s favorite song. It was also unfortunately the last of my projects that he got a chance to experience before transitioning. This song will forever be a dedication to him.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting the opportunity to play to sold out arenas across the US with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This has been such an invaluable experience to get the opportunity to connect with so many people at one time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything! Though I feel so blessed with all that I’ve been able to experience so far, I also feel like i’m just getting started.
