Self-taught Polish electronic music producer Pham taps into future bass, trap, and other sounds. His 2015 track “Movements” has more than 100 million streams across platforms.
• Dawid Phan Ngoc grew up in Nysa, Poland, which has a population of around 300. He’s of Vietnamese descent, and he suffered bullying in school.
• Ngoc became obsessed with music at an early age. He became a self-taught electronic producer, initially with hopes of impressing a girl he had a crush on.
• Pham broke through with “Movements,” his 2015 collaboration with Yung Fusion. In 2016, Pham released an EP of the same name, featuring Lox Chatterbox, Anuka, and tribes.
• In 2016, Pham remixed “Dear Neighbor” for Colombian artist Flapo. The song, featuring Jenni Potts, surpassed 10 million streams.
