Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I always loved music as a kid growing up, and it was omnipresent in our house, but the moment where something came alive inside of me, was the first time I heard Freddie Mercury sing. That brought me to a whole other level of awe and wonder.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Tell us why you chose this song. “Keep Breathing” It’s through our breath that we access what makes us human— our capacity to feel connection, experience love and belonging, and know significance. In a world that can be so challenging to make sense of, our breath is sometimes all we have.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I decided to commit to being a singer-songwriter for the rest of my life the night I first saw Glen Hansard play. 5 years later I was opening shows for him and he was singing on my album. It was a true 'dream come true' moment.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to headline Massey Hall. It's going to happen.
