Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Son of salsa singer Pete “El Conde” Rodriguez and godson of Johnny Pacheco, Rodriguez has drawn on his diverse upbringing to create jazz that defies categorization, from hard-driving, post-bop jazz, to melodic Latin variants and R&B-tinged grooves.
Pete Rodriguez has also released music as a member of Pete Rodríguez Y Su Conjunto and Pete Rodríguez and His Orchestra.
