Working with artists like Leellamarz, Ash Island, and Hash Swan, Korean producer Pateko melded a variety of organic instrumentation into his dreamy blend of pop-rap.
Making his debut on Leellamarz' 2018 album Violinist, producer Pateko quickly established his signature sound, creating breezy beats driven by strong instrumental lines. After racking up production credits on allday4real's Persona (2019), Hash Swan's Silence of the REM (2020), and Cloudybay's Cloudybayfy, the producer set to work on a debut project of his own. Titled Love U God, Pateko's September 2020 debut brought together artists including Ash Island, Knave, and Koreangroove for a four-track set. ~ David Crone
