Singer-composer Parampara Tandon has become a household name thanks to the emotive sensibility of her pop tunes for films as well as for her work as part of the duo Sachet-Parampara with Sachet Tandon. The pair met on talent show The Voice India in 2015, not only winning the hearts of prime-time TV viewers but also going on to become star Bollywood singers—and eventually judges on the show where their partnership began. They started their journey into filmi music with songs for the likes of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Kabir Singh. Tandon also featured on the dance-floor-friendly remake of “Muqabla” by Tanishk Bagchi for Street Dancer 3D, making her own mark as a solo performer. With love songs such as “Dilbara” and “Malang Sajna” and devotional numbers like “Ram Siya Ram” and “Shyama Aan Baso” in her repertoire, Tandon is one of the more diverse voices in Indian music.
