Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first musical memories was when my elementary school choir teacher told the guy next to me that he had a really great voice haha. That really lit a fire under me to work really hard and get better so that maybe next time I'd be the one.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, A Rush of Blood to the Head LANY, Malibu Nights The 1975, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it These albums impacted how I create music so much - sonically and philosophically. They opened my eyes to new sounds and ways to connect with people through music. I've never been the same since I first heard these albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Never In Love” This is one of my favorite songs of mine and not because it is the most popular at the moment. I love it because it really teleports me to a time and place that I hold dear. And although it's quite honest for me, it's whimsical and carefree.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have opened for some artist I really admire including Dayglow and Surfaces and accumulated millions of streams across platforms. One of the highlights of being a musician though is hearing how my music has impacted people's daily lives.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My dream is to play a headlining slot at Bonnaroo in my hometown of Nashville. I've always dreamed that once I was doing that then I'd have achieved everything a musician can dream of.
