Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Working with Lukey, an artist from Philly, was super memorable. I still clearly remember how excited I was when he first sent over the sketch for Sugarbee.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Primary, Primary And The Messengers LP Verbal Jint, Go Easy These albums continue to shape my creative world. Whenever I’m in need of inspiration, I instinctively return to them.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “SUGARBEE (feat. Lukey)” I chose it because it’s a recent release, and its vibe fits so well with the way the weather feels right now.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every time I make a new track, I’m always blown away when artists send back their acapellas over my beat—it’s a moment that never gets old.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It’s my dream to create a full-length album with an amazing lineup of featured artists.
