Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Seeing "Colors" by Beck laid out in the DAW. My young self was blown away by just how many elements went into a single track. Much later, I finally understood what each element did; eventually I realized that results, not components, matter most.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burial, Untrue Elyanna, WOLEDTO Gorgon City, Olympia Olympia – First got me into producing house music. WOLEDTO – A textbook example of blurring genres with captivating results. Untrue - A hugely influential album that inspired me to embrace creating more unconventional, emotional electronic music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Never Told You” I produced this song in about an hour, but it was the first song that I felt sounded the way I wanted it to. Everything else I'd made up until that point was okay, but this one felt more professional and represented a leap forward in my craft.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I saw someone promoting my music on Instagram. It's small, but it represents a great leap for myself (who never did much self-promotion anyway).
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Right now, as a small artist I want to collaborate more and learn from other people who are doing the same things I'm doing as well as people in other stages of their musical careers. Experimenting with other genres also appeals to me.
