In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My brother and friends from school formed a punk band in middle school, and i'll never forget every time we got together to play or practice, we immediately would play In Bloom by Nirvana without saying a word to each other.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Barnes Blvd., Last Summer Fat Jon, Nujabes, Samurai Champloo Music Record Departure Noname, Telefone Departure and last Summer have not only had a huge influence on my music stylings, but also are phenomenal records for repeated listens without skips. Last summer combines elegant piano and guitar performances with vibrant ambient percussion.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Luvin' U” I remember making this song with my brother in a hotel in Seattle, and when we made the drop with the children cheering, we both lost our minds. That's a moment i'll never forget.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments so far, was waking up one day in 2019 and seeing my song "I just feel kind of alone right now" getting to 50k streams on soundcloud seemingly overnight. Before then, my releases never really took off.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to write and animate a musical. My goal with all my future albums is to tell a story. The only thing after that is to show it to you.
