Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is being on stage for the first time as a child, for my school band. I played the trumpet, and we were rehearsing for an upcoming performance. I remember vividly that I got chills while were all were rehearsing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World JAY-Z, The Black Album Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill I chose these albums because they are the albums that best represent who the artist is, as a person and as a musician.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Running out of Time” I wrote this song when I was 19. I love this song because it is a good representation of my state of mind at the time. You can hear the emotion in my voice, and the lyrics are sharp.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments was the release party for "The New Black." Seeing everyone vibing to the new tracks and feeling that deep connection was unreal—a true highlight of my journey.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One big thing on my bucket list is to collaborate with some of the legends and new voices in hip-hop and beyond. I’d also love to take my music internationally, doing tours in places I've never been, and connecting with fans across the globe.
