Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I was on a stage was for a talent show in elementary school, I sang "Rain" by EnVogue acappella, my mom was in the crowd, first time hearing me sing. I was so nervous but made it through with a standing ovation. Hence the present.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde Robyn, Body Talk Tove Lo, Lady Wood All of these albums are pure energy and in my opinion ground breaking in the sense that no rules were followed, each and every record was uniquely their own.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Great for You (feat. BRÅVES)” My first release outside of my band, and the first time I was played on radio as the focal point. I made this song with friends in my home town of LA, and it was well received by so many amazing fans. It's given me the gas I needed to do more.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Going #1 on Alternative Billboard charts with my band Fitz And The Tantrums and the songs I wrote, Out Of My League and The Walker.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Excited to finally begin releasing songs from my coming solo project, and doing it as a self-released artist under my label, Adventures With Scaggs, is a milestone I never thought would be realized. My single Bless The DJ is just the beginning.
