Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I started music. My friend needed a bass player in his high school band. I said yes, but I thought he meant the Drums. I thought bass was just a way to say kick drum haha, and then I studied bass, thanks to Alex.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Barry Can't Swim, When Will We Land? Duskus, Healers Vol. 1 - EP salute, TRUE MAGIC I listen to so many different styles of music, from Cuban music to contemporary jazz to alt-electronic to hip-hop—it’s hard to pinpoint an all-time favorite album. But since last summer, I’ve had these three albums on loop, sooo good.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Waiting (feat. Nia Nadurata)” We made this song—the whole album, actually—during the best week of my entire life. Not even exaggerating. I can't explain what happened exactly, but it was insane, Props to Brendan, the string from Paris team and everyone that was there.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment is coming on March 7—we’re doing a show in Montreal at Studio TD. Honestly, we’re planning to squeeze the vibe of an arena show into a smaller venue… it’s just going to be insane, I cant waiiiiit !!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I feel like I have an endless bucket list of things to do. These's days, I'm dreaming of touring Asia. But to be honest, I just love travelling so much.
