In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing my dad play Northern Soul around the house.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Your Team” Your Team is the first in my debut album campaign to come out. I really returned to my roots of influence on this track - 60s and 70s music, especially paying homage to Philly soul. It's also got a very queer and unapologetic storyline.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Paul Weller on his UK tour a couple of years back.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to tour the US. Retro soul is alive and well across the states and a goal of mine is to write songs over there too.
