Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I recall discovering the first 7 inch single my dad bought as a child in my grandparent's house. It was Telstar by The Tornadoes, produced by Joe Meek. I was fascinated with the spacey production and the pre-synth synth melody
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Morning Phase Boards of Canada, Music Has the Right to Children Money Mark, Push the Button The production, atmosphere, humour, melody, grooves and timelessness of these three records all speak to me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Factory Presets” This is my first release in quite some time. It's an 85bpm journey into an altered mind, and it features my first instrumental chorus, based on a fuzz guitar riff. Feels good to be back :)
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing to a packed Workmans Club in Dublin, opening for George Clanton. The crowd started dancing and singing along from the first note I played. Magical. Also sweaty. The perfect gig.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Hell yes. To make more and better music and to reach more people, preferably in the flesh at a sweaty show.
