In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The earliest recollection I have relating to where I've ended up musically today is as a 6 year old, switching all the lights off in the house and playing piano, just to hear the sound of the notes. An early ambient piano album project perhaps!?
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Grace” This song has opened so many doors and yet it was more or less recorded by accident. Producer Dom Monks happened to press record while I was playing him the song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing an international music festival in Khartoum, Sudan as the only international act. I played the only available piano in the city and we had a power cut as we finished the last song, so all of the final applauds came from beyond the darkness.
