Danish singer, songwriter, and producer Niklas Grool, aka Necklace, specializes in amiable pop heavily inspired by contemporary R&B. The Copenhagen-based artist produced and played in bands -- most notably Waldo & Marsha -- prior to giving singing a shot. Once Grool found his voice, he made his recorded debut as a solo artist in 2017 with the singles "Try This" and "Between (Me & You)." Third single "Easy" followed the next year. All three tracks were issued through a deal with major-label Atlantic. As Grool was in motion with his solo career, he continued to work with other artists, including Gnucci, for whom he co-wrote and co-produced "You Good I'm Good Let's Be Great." ~ Andy Kellman
