In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being a toddler and my Mom singing 'People' by Barbra Streisand to me and my sister when we got to go to sleep. I think this is the first memory I have with music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Howard, I Forget Where We Were Bon Iver, Bon Iver, Bon Iver Nick Drake, Pink Moon Bon Iver This inspired me so much. Not just as a musician but as a human being Pink Moon I grew up with this, it inspired me to pick up a guitar. It made me realise I wanted to be a songwriter IFWWW This record keeps breaking me with every listen
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “i'll be there” 'i'll be there' is the most special one to me. I wrote it together with a friend of mine in maybe just 30 minutes after a terrible day of writing. To me, that moment is completely captured in those 3 minutes of music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing a sold out support tour for a band called HAEVN. I went from zero to big rooms in the Netherlands and it gave me reason to never want to quit music. The feeling I got on stage sometimes with that tour was just goosebumps
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing Glastonbury for sure! Oh and, winning a grammy...haha!
