Artist Biography
Nastee Nev (born Neville Moeletsi in Pretoria, South Africa in 1974) was one of the earliest deep house DJs and producers in South Africa. After playing locally for several years, he landed a residency at Pretoria’s seminal Club Gemini, where he DJ’d alongside fellow legends DJ Christos, Vinny da Vinci, and Bob Mabena. After releasing his debut album, Private Lessons, in 2007, Nev scored a mainstream hit in 2013 with "I’m So Hung Up on You”, a sultry tune featuring American vocalist Donald Sheffey, with whom he also collaborated on the soulful banger “Take Me (All Night)”, both of which appeared on Nev’s 2013 album 0808 Sweetsoul.
