Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Discovering Aphex Twin's Xtal for the first time. It must have been circa 2000 and we just got dial-up internet at home. My mind was completely blown.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Björk, Vespertine Johnny Cash, At Folsom Prison Live Kruder & Dorfmeister, DJ-Kicks (Kruder & Dorfmeister) [DJ Mix] Each of these albums is utterly singular. If I were a record store keeper, I might file each under "Live Album", "Compilation / DJ Mix", and "Studio Album" respectively, but they are each so definitive as to warrant their own section.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nothing Changes, Everything Changes” The whole 'Impermanence' album I wrote when I was going through some tough challenges at work and in life, and this track seemed to strike a nerve on that theme.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Honestly, seeing that one of my tracks has been Shazamed over 8000 times just now is pretty amazing. Thank you everyone!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes. To keep doing this for another 40+ years. Once you get going on your life's purpose it's all about momentum. Nothing else truly matters.
