Artist Biography
A prominent fixture on the UK dance scene since 2013, NAINA’s taste for future-facing, genre-merging electronic music flavors her own distinct sound as an artist and producer. Recognized first for her broadcasting talents—presenting shows for a number of high-profile stations—NAINA soon moved to conquer clubs and festivals including Boiler Room, Lovebox, and Glastonbury with her adrenalized DJ sets, an eclectic mix of techno, jungle, footwork, and hardcore. In 2017, she landed a regular, weekly spot on Apple Music 1, where she later went on to launch Tala Radio: the station’s first dedicated platform for showcasing rising South Asian artists. Having earned her stripes as a tastemaker and champion of emerging talent, NAINA took her first bold step as an artist in her own right during 2024. Her debut single, “I’d Rather Be Here (Than Anywhere with You)” was released through Hooversound, the popular dance label she launched with DJ SHERELLE in 2020.
