In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Life Story formed in Southend-On-Sea, Essex in 1984 from the local art school scene. Being a bit of a show off, I took on the vocals, playing my father’s 1960s Epiphone Broadway guitar which I found under the stairs.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elvis Costello & The Attractions, Armed Forces Remastered 2020 Julian Cope, World Shut Your Mouth Soft Cell, The Art of Falling Apart Armed Forces was the first album I owned. The musical craftsmanship and songwriting blew my mind. World Shut Your Mouth introduced the band to experimental arrangement and alternative expression. Art of Falling Apart is pure drama, guts and epic pop.
