Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first song I ever performed was a feature on a Kilo G track titled "Hotta Fire". The chorus had a Jamaican sample. Little did I know that is was Ras Maisha on the hook...it was my first "hit", then we formed G.M.E. and built our musical presence
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Real Gz” This is the first international collaboration I completed. The beat came from Senegal, West Africa after the producer and I made contact on YouTube. This created a working relationship with African producers and artists, that I currently maintain.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I recently performed in a competition at the ILounge in Atlanta. GA. This was my first time ever visiting or performing there. The owner of the venue demanded that I return for the finals and I immediately established an Atlanta fanbase.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to make a song with an industry artist...such as AZ, J-Cole, or someone that has a similar style. My goal is to secure a distribution or marketing deal to further push our sound forward.
