Artist Biography
Monty Luke produces and spins a wide array of deep, dubby house, techno, and disco. Originally from Los Angeles, he's spent time in many other cities, including a decade-long stay in Detroit, where he established his Black Catalogue label and worked for Planet E as a manager and recording artist. After moving to Berlin, he released his debut album, Hard Work Not Hype, in 2019. Nightdubbing, an LP heavily nodding to Caribbean influences, appeared in 2024.
