Inspired by the influences of acts such as Nicki Minaj, Foxy Brown, Lil Wayne & Drake, To even current acts such as Jt & Nba Youngboy, Montez is a musical powerhouse. To the versatility of Nicki, & Delivery of Foxy, Montez is here to give his all!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Foxy Brown, Ill Na Na Lil Wayne, Tha Carter III Nicki Minaj, The Pinkprint (Deluxe Edition) These albums are the pivotal of all my favorite artist career. Albums that defined the greatness in each and every one of them. Albums that helped people through trails and tribulations, These albums forever hold a place in the culture and hearts.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Trippin’ (feat. Brandon Yancey)” I wrote this song when I felt like everything and everybody was against me. It was a way to let everybody in and tell them “Hey,I feel really alone right now”. It was soon after my breakup this song came about & now it’s my most successful song out!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing all the love i’ve received since I came back in 2024. I had so many doubts about returning but once I dropped “Trippin , & seeing the response, I never thought so many people wanted another album from me. It was cute but a little overwhelming.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’ve never asked to go mainstream but if i happens I hope i’m able to make it to a point where the people i look up to are at right now. Mainly to take care of my family and friends , but most importantly to give back to my fans that supported me.
