The 25-volume Japanese light novel collection MONOGATARI Series has been adapted into a serialized manga, three seasons of anime, and several collections of music.
· The first three volumes of the MONOGATARI Series’ manga adaptation have sold more than one million copies combined.
· Utamonogatari, a collection of MONOGATARI Series theme songs, reached No. 1 in Japan and was certified Gold.
· Utamonogatari 2, a second collection of MONOGATARI Series theme songs, sold more than 16,000 copies in its first week and reached No. 1 in Japan.
· The first season of the anime adaptation, Bakemonogatari, was declared the best anime of 2009 by the Tokyo Anime Award Festival.
