Under the moniker Mokita, Nashville singer, songwriter, and producer John-Luke Carter creates lyrical and buoyant electronic-based pop with acoustic elements. After racking up writing and production credits for acts like Stephen Puth, Zac Brown Band, and Matoma, he found solo success with his 2019 breakout single "Colorblind." Mokita remained prolific over the next few years recording an array of singles and releasing the 2022 EP, Color Me In, on the Nettwerk label.
