In the artist’s words:
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Talk Talk, Spirit of Eden This album took quite a few people by surprise. No obvious singles. Instead, 6 meditations, closer to Coltrane’s ‘A Love Supreme.’ Slow, moody, deeply atmospheric, the tracks almost merge. This album uses space as cleverly as other bands use noise.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was our 1st spring break gig in Daytona Beach. Robbie announces the next song I Melt with You. The crowd perks up & doubles the noise. We start the song & the crowd goes completely insane. It goes on until we finish the song.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have always said that I would like to play at Carnegie hall in NYC. Also the Royal Albert Hall in London. 2 historic venues. and while I think about it we would be in good company at the Hollywood Bowl as well!
