Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid in Norway you got to love A-HA, three Norwegian guys filling stadiums in Brazil! Very different musically than us, but still nice.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ebo Taylor, Ebo Taylor Jeri-Jeri, 800% Ndagga (Mark Ernestus Presents Jeri-Jeri) Little Simz, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert Little Simz is great, both her albums and her live act. Ebo Taylor has a special vibe. His band has a very hip beat and the guitar sounds excellent. Jeri-Jeri sounds amazing. We love the way they play.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kuti” Kuti is the last tune in our set. Its fast, but you can also feel it in halftime. Its named after Fela Kuti, since the rhythm is based on his Pansa Pansa. If you catch yourself humming to a melody after a Modal Trafikk concert, its probably this one.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? As long as people are dancing and having fun we are having a good time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Ha ha. This is our first album! There ar lots of stuff left in our bucket list. A world tour would be nice!
