Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Every Saturday, Ma Dukes would blast music dumb loud as she cleaned the crib... I would visit my Pops in Dallas during summers growing up. He had a ill record collection. Looking back on it all, they both heavily influenced me musically.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Still” I would have to go with "Still" (laughs uneasily). This track was never supposed to see the light of day. It's so vulnerable... A couple of my homies convinced me to release it and to this day, it's my most listened to record. This one is special.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Moving to Harlem to continue developing my sound. It's an inspiring place but it'll also eat you alive if you let it. Of course, I made my way back to Houston to complete my sound. Home is home and you can't take that away.
