In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. For my 6th birthday I got a little record player and a few records, one of which was the 'Grease' soundtrack. 'Grease Lightning' was on repeat for months, and I loved that there were swear words. In a way, it might've been my first 'punk' experience.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fugazi, Repeater & 3 Songs PJ Harvey, Rid of Me Sunset Rubdown, Random Spirit Lover Rid of Me: PJ expertly conveys raw emotion both unapologetically and unselfconsciously. Repeater: My white Album, sounded like nothing else before it and still not matched Random Spirit Lover: A magical realism tour de force at once raw and pristine
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mid Life” This was one of the first songs we worked on together. We took two seemingly opposite song fragments and pieced them together to create a narrative that starts with ironic despair and ends with joy and resilience. It's both haunting and optimistic.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We're still a very new band and we keep our goals realistic, but we're also further along than we expected to be at this point. We know we want to play some festivals, tour Europe and Japan, maybe open for Sweeping Promises, Unwound, IDLES, etc..
